Heated Head Diaphragm Pumps (top)
Our self-contained heated head unit eliminates cold spots associated with external
connections. Temperature is controlled by several available options:
The head enclosure on the standard and Mini models can be used to provide additional
insulation to end fittings, minimizing cold spots. The removable metal cover gives easy
access to all components for assembly and service. Two (2) 75 watt heater cartridges
inserted in the head add heat as required.
Single stage or dual stage units are available. Maximum operating temperature for all
3-ply Teflon® or Viton® diaphragms is 200° C / 392° F. Teflon® / EPDM diaphragm
maximum operating temperature is 150° C / 300° F. The heated head Dia-Vac pumps are
available from inventory with shipment within 2-3 days and are Ce Approved.

Extended Housing Dia-Vac Heated Pump (top)
Allows you to insert the head section and pump housing into a heated box or container. The
extended configuration permits a dual stage pump which increases flow/vacuum/pressure
capacity. By separating the pump housing from the motor, only the housing is heated,
leaving the motor and other parts to run at ambient temperature. Proper alignment is
critical. Please refer to the Standard Dia-Vac page for pump performance.
*Note: Now available with general purpose motors as well as explosion proof motors as shown.
Single (& Dual) Elevated Head
Dia-Vac Heated Pump (top)
Eliminate the possibility of alignment problems. The elevated head configuration separates
the head from the pump housing and motor. It allows you to insert the head section
directly into a heated compartment without break down and reassembly. The pump housing and
motor will remain at ambient temperature.
The user provides the heat source for both the extended housing and elevated head
models and both are available in general purpose or explosion proof motors. Please refer
to the Standard Dia-Vac page for pump performance.
ADI can also supply a dual elevated head pump which will allow you to heat both pump heads
while the pump housing and motor remain at ambient temperature. Currently, this model is
only available with general purpose motors.
Explosion-Proof Steam-Traced Heated
Head option (top)
For heated systems required in hazardous locations; also available with air driven motor.
The user provides the heated steam source to the pump. Maximum temperatures up to 400°F
(200°C). Please refer to the
Explosion Proof Dia-Vac page for pump performance.
Micro Dia-Vac® Self contained Heated Head
Pump (top)
Self-contained head eliminate cold spots in sample systems. These models come complete
with a Type K thermo-couple and two 50 watt cartridge heaters and require an optional
digital temperature controller to prevent overheating (kit #11030). The maximum operating
temperature of heated heads is 400° F (200° C) with all Teflon® diaphragms. The unique
pump motor is dual voltage (115/230V), dual cycle (50/60Hz) operation and is Ce approved.
Please refer to the Micro Dia-Vac Page for pump performance. Standard Shipments within 2-3
days!!

Micro Dia-Vac® Elevated Head
Sample Pumps (top)
Ideal for stack emission analysis. They are specifically designed for tough duty in high
temperature, (200° C or 400° F). This configuration allows for the head to be inserted
into a heated box with the motor remaining in an ambient environment. Please refer to the
Micro Dia-Vac page for pump performance. Also available from inventory with standard
shipments within 2-3 days!! Ce approved.
